Tonight in Art & Fellowship we will once again create an atmosphere for encounter with God. We are finishing up our 3 month reflective series and tonight's theme is LIVING WATER and RESTORATION. Come experience God through art. I am believing for hearts to be refreshed! Please don't feel like you can't come because you are not skilled enough. It's not about what you are able to do, but what He is able to do in you. This is a simple project this month that ANYONE can do. Come give it a try. Stop by some time between 6 and 9pm.

Hey all my preschool buddies, have you noticed the weather is getting warmer? But we've also had lots and lots of rain! That's a good thing, though, because it's just God's way of watering all his beautiful plants and trees so they can start blooming an incredible array of flowers. This Friday may be sunny, but in our preschool class we'll talk all about rain. Come ready to make some rain instruments, create some wonderful rain art, and even do a rain science project. It will be a lot of fun! See you there... And please don't forget to register so I can prepare all my supplies. Thanks! (Classes are free but if you're able, there is a $2 suggested donation to replenish supplies)
So ugly to look at, but what a reminder how ugly our words can be. I believe words of fire and death create thick, deep roots that entangle and ensnare. Felt convicted to guard my tongue as God led me to create this. James 3:6 "The tongue also is a fire, a world of evil among the parts of the body. " So in March we focused on confession and we had a great evening connecting with God through clay. I created this, and yes, every time I look at it I think about how ugly it looks. But that is a good thing. We may not visually see what our words look like, but I'm sure if we could we would often be horrified. I know I would. So this serves as a little intrusive reminder into my otherwise aesthetically organized world to guard my tongue from speaking words of death- words that cut down, accuse, kill, dampen, slander or scar. Words are powerful, and they can hurt. I'm so thankful for how God is moving on the fourth Friday nights at Pathway. Feel free to join us any time. We meet between the hours of 6 and 9pm. |
