Merry Christmas!
I love Christmas. I love being intentional about setting time aside in one of the most commercialized and busiest times of the year, to focus my heart on what truly matters. Who truly matters. Jesus. And what a beautiful Christmas our family shared!
I have also been intentional about taking time off from the art ministry to reposition my heart and to give myself some rest. It has been renewing, and the time has given me a chance to set my vision afire once more. I look forward to what 2015 will bring and where God will take me.
Something that is big on my heart for this upcoming year is to start focusing on developing a program for "mobile art". What this means is that we will take art on the road as a missional outreach. If you are interested in being a part of this in any way, please contact me. I am excited for the opportunities this will allow.
Here's a quick look at all the classes and sessions that will be available for now:
Writing Group meets 1st Thursday of the month from 10-11am (this month it will meet the second Thurs due to New Year's Day). This is a time for any creative writers or aspiring writers to come together to encourage and motivate one another to write.
Preschool Class will continue on the 3rd Friday of the month from 10-11am. Please register to ensure space is available. This is a free class but 2$ donations per child are accepted to cover cost of art supplies.
Open Studio on 4th Friday from 10am-1pm. Room is open and art supplies are available. $5 fee to cover art supplies. Come and be creative. Drop in any time. No registration required.
Art and Fellowship meets the 4th Friday from 6-9pm. There will be a creative prompt to direct class. Please register to ensure space. $5 suggested donation to cover art supplies.
Thank you for your continued support and involvement in the Arts at Pathway. Keep looking at the calendar for new and exciting things to come.
Be blessed in 2015.
